Washington v Louisville Pre Match Thoughts

Louisville seeks to start another winning streak on Saturday, but the Washington Spirit will surely put up a better fight than Chicago. The “Fighting OL Kang Spirit” are near the top of the table and I frankly hope they see a rapid fall. I don’t get the reverence for St. Kang. When she isn't lifting trophies for which she can take very little credit, she's making political donations to Ron DeSantis. She is just as crappy as virtually every other owner. Just stop it with the hero worship already. She's done good things and bad things just like the rest of us.

Anyway, this will be super short as I am in DC to watch the match. Louisville needs to work around the fact that DeMelo is going to be marked by multiple players until they find another reliable goal scorer. The matches vs. Washington are always interesting so I expect this one to follow suit. This is the chance for Louisville to show that they are ready to step up thier play to win against the league’s best teams. I will try to tweet from the stadium, but we'll see how cellular reception is around Audi Field.
