Elli Pikkujämsä signs for Louisville

Louisville started to rebuild its defense with the signing of Elli Pikkujämsä. Elli is a regular starter for the Finnish National team and is a versatile defender who can play at both left back and defensive midfield but will likely be used in Louisville’s central defense. She is also a goal scoring threat having scored 6 goals in 27 appearances for her former club team KIF Örebro in 2022. The official press release touted her abilities as an overall athlete as she was a “high-level snowboarder” at the youth level.
