1st Minute
Fort Wayne looks like they're going to play football.
3rd Minute
Dayes almost guides one in from a free kick.
Upon review of the match highlights after the match, it is so close that the broadcast thinks it is a goal for a while. The commentators (who are in an undisclosed underground secret bunker) seem confused, but if they were in the stadium they would not have been.
5th Minute
Goal. A Fort Wayne attacker gets behind the Lou City back line as Dayes stumbles and Faundez doesn't really have a chance to stop it.

GOAL! Lou City makes Fort Wayne pay for playing football as Duncan steals one and slots it into the right corner of the goal.

Donovan tries to cross one, but it only finds the keeper.
15th Minute
Lou City is a little bit too unselfish in the box and then the ball is cleared out for a corner.
20th Minute
Donovan can't quite get on the end of Dia's cross, and it goes out for a corner.

A ball finds its way into the box for Donovan, but he can't quite get good enough contact to finish the chance.

Donovan does find the back of the net but he's obviously offside.

Akale has a shot from distance, but it goes over the bar.

Heard in the Waterfront Supporters Zone: "Need to call timeout for this old man to take his nap." This is in reference to the Fort Wayne keeper Bernd Schipmann who is 31 years old. I guess that qualifies as old in soccer years and he definitely is giving “old man” vibes. He is listed on the Fort Wayne roster at 6-4, 266 pounds. That is a WWE type height/weight.

Donovan wins a free kick in a very nice position just outside of the box.

Moguel's solid strike hits the top of the bar.

Akale wins another free kick in a very good spot.

Akale's shot is on target, but it's easily saved by the keeper (let’s call him BFG going forward, Big Freakin’ German).

Some heads up keeping by Faundez prevents a really dangerous opportunity for Fort Wayne.

Lou City has a couple of good opportunities from the corner but just can't find the back of the net.

Faundez has to make a pretty good save on the corner to end the first half.

Lou City have some decent opportunities to take the lead, but then so does Fort Wayne. The match is good, even if Lou City’s performance hasn’t been up to snuff.

Manny's cross finds Ray and he taps it in easily. He won’t have many easier finishes.

GOAL! The free kick from Wilson almost finds Adams but, in the end, I think it goes straight in from Wilson's free kick.
Not to have whoever is in charge take a goal away from Adams (and risk death from Elizabeth), but Adams confesses after the match that he didn’t think he got a touch. Maybe it grazed his hair. It’s got to be the hair, right?

After the match Coach Bird admits that he wasn’t very happy with the first half performance, thus the 3 subs. I think the performance was better in the second half, but it made the match duller. Donovan worked his tail off and I really wish he had a goal to show for it. I think they will start coming soon. Ray gracefully made it through his interview at the end despite numerous people trying to distract him.
