4-30-25 Racing Practice

It’s a short week for Racing Louisville, and while some folks are ready to move on from that foul game in Portland on Sunday (pun intended), others are excited to build on the energy from those three goals! And really it was the refs, not the game, that was foul. As Coach Bev said at practice today, they learn something from every game, so there’s always something new to work on. If there wasn’t, I guess practice would be pretty boring.

Coach Bev, Taylor Flint, and Emma Sears spent time with the media prior to practice.

Keeper Coach Sergio Gonzalez has help with this drill from Jordyn Bloomer during Keeper warm-ups. I think we’d all agree that Sergio should wear his first-ever NWSL red card as a badge of honor.

Left to right, Lauren Milliet, Emma Sears, and Savannah DeMelo work to surround Ary Borges during a drill.

The three goal scorers from the last match battled for the ball during warm-ups with Savanna DeMelo successfully kicking it out of play. Coach Carm Moscato looks on approvingly. Whatever you’re feeding these players, let’s keep it coming!

Savannah DeMelo, Elli Pikkujämsä, Ary Borges and Kayla Fischer watch another ball successfully kicked out of play. I really didn’t understand this game, but they seemed to be having a blast.
