Racing Lou Practice 4-18-25
Beautiful day for practice as long as you have access to hairspray (Arin Wright did!) or have short hair: the wind was not messing around today. Coach Bev is confident that the team is ready for San Diego tomorrow (3pm kick-off). I’d keep my eye on former Racing player Savannah McCaskill who always finds a way to score at Lynn Family stadium.
Enjoy some shots of the interviewees including cute top buns and Easter cleats, as well as the players enjoying their warm-up exercises. Glad to see Elli, Uchenna, and Sav all looking healthy and ready to dress for tomorrow’s match!
Courtney Petersen, Makayla DeMelo, Savannah DeMelo, and Lauren Milliet warm-up while the coaches chat.
The wind can’t stop Savannah DeMelo but it can give her a new hairdo.
Marisa DiGrande, Jordan Baggett, Kayla Fischer, Allie George, Uchenna Kanu, and Captain Arin Wright warm up.
Ella Hase showcasing her agility and ball control.
Lauren Milliet, Savannah DeMelo, and Makayla DeMelo
Lauren Milliet having fun during warm-ups.
Uchenna Kanu showing us she’s ready for more minutes this weekend.
Elli Pikkujämsä also healthy and ready for some minutes.
IMO, the next-in-line to score a goal for Racing. Keep an eye on the talented Kayla Fischer.
Our number one scorer to date, Emma Sears.
Sarah Weber also in line for a goal in the near future.
Winners (most goals scored) of the pre-practice warm-up drill.
